In my previous blog I have talked that, how having knowledge about Basic English can improve your English proficiency.

 In this post I am going to explain you how you can improve your speaking with very beginning:

There are 26 letters in Alphabets i.e. (A- Z)

Out of 26 there are 5 vowels and remaining 21 are consonants

Vowels like; a, e, I, o, u (स्वर)

Consonants like; remaining letters (व्यंजन)

Like Hindi after learning क – ज्ञ तक we move forward to मात्राएं to be able to read book, for example two, three, and four letter words etc.

Same in English, after learning A-Z you can start with two, three and four letters. Then categorize the `ee`, `oo`, `y`, and `ll` sound

Two letter words like;

Me – मी	My- माय	To – टू	Am – ऐम
We – वी	It – इट	Do- डू	Of – ऑफ़
He – ही	Hi – हाय	As – ऐज़	On – ऑन
Be – बी	Oh -ओह	An – ऐन	Go – गो
If – इफ़	Us – अस	At – ऐट	By – बाय

Three letters including vowels are:

a	e	i	o	u
bat	men	big	cop	pup
cat	ten	wig	hop	cup
mat	den	fig	mop	hug
fat	hen	pit	top	mug
rat	ben	sit	cot	rug
hat	pen	fit	hot	bug
sat	bet	kit	lot	jug
pat	set	lit	not	tug

are, you, has, had, the, for, may, and, way, now, new, use, but, her, his, him etc.

Sound of `ee`

been	bleed	feel	teeth	heed
seen	seed	deed	fee	need
greed	meet	deep	feet	peel
free	keep	queen	sweet	seem
breed	weep	green	street	freeze

Sound of `oo`

look	bloom	tool	food	wood
shook	broom	tooth	hood	wool
hook	brook	booth	soon	tool
took	crook	boot	doom	foot
book	Gloom	shoot	noon	cool

Sound of `ll`

fall	small	tall	bell	fill
mall	shall	ball	tell	will

Words with `y`

After improving these terms, you can start learning grammar

The first topic of Grammar is Parts of speech and sentence. After covering these topics, you will become much better

Because from 1^st to 12^th grade our English depends on parts of speech (whether it is reading, writing or speaking)

What is part of speech?

The Part of speech functions as how the meaning of word and grammar works in sentence by adding meaning.

In simple way, when we speak we use words, these words are divided into eight category and classes according to the work they do in a sentence, they are known as parts of speech.

There are eight parts of speech:

1. Noun – संज्ञा
2. Pronoun – सर्वनाम
3. Verb – किर् या
4. Adverb – किर् या विशेषण
5. Adjective – विशेषण
6. Preposition – संबंध बोधक
7. Conjunction – समुच्य बोधक
8. Interjection – विस्मयादि बोधक
